17.6.26 – Update on GATTi – Thank you thank you thank you everyone who is helping with Gatti’s treatment. ♥️
– Blood reports revealed she has Babesia GIBSONI tick fever
– She is on appropriate meds for the same
– She is now STANDING – something she didn’t do since she has been admitted!! Yay 🧿 ✨ (she is on safe painkillers at the moment)
– She is eating well – more yayy 🧿 ✨
– Her hemoglobin has risen to 4.6 from 2- and more yayy 🧿 ✨
She is not out of the woods yet. She remains critical but we see improvement, we see a will to live.
We have decided to not go ahead with the transfusion mainly because it is too expensive, she has too many things going on and more than anything else she is responding to medication.
To whoever dumped her there – could you not even try? 💔
Gatti doesn’t belong to the area we found her in. She cannot go back on the streets because –
– She is too old
– She has lesions in her lungs
– Her heart is enlarged
– She has major arthritis and spurs in all her joints including her spine
She is going to need supplements for all of the above for the time she is around.
One day at a time. One day at a time. I don’t want to stress about later right now. I’m sure , as always, the universe will have a plan .
Thank you once again to everyone who is helping..GATTI blessings and love your way today and always ❤️🧿🙏🐾
In gratitude, always
