This old girl was found outside Gattu Chutney restaurant in Kharadi last night.
She was sent into an emergency hospital because no vets were open at that hour and also she needed critical care.

She was noticed by a kind girl who was on her way back from office ..she noticed this old girl lying on the side of the road…collapsed and fainted. At once she poured some water on her and gave her some to drink as well.
Gatti is not from this area. I know and feed all the dogs here and we have never seen her here before .
She has most likely been dumped here by some humans who deserve a spot in hell.

She is currently admitted under the wonderful care of Crown vet..and this is her diagnosis –

1. She’s 10+ years old . Hemoglobin at 2!
2. All her joints and spine have spurs and major arthritis – her knees, her elbows and even her hips!
3. She has lesions in her lungs – finding it tough to breathe at times
4. Her heart is enlarged.
5. Has ticks falling off her body as she moves.
6. Unable to stand.
7. Kidney liver values seem fine and she’s eating on her own.

We are looking for a blood donor urgently for her and her treatment and medication has begun.
It’s a wait and watch situation for the next 24 hours and then we do blood tests again .

Please help me help Gatti .. we are trying our best because we see she has the will to live. I will never put an animal through discomfort or pain with zero quality of life ahead just because I want it that way. All decisions that we are taking and will be taken will be in ful consultation with the best vets as well as my descrition.

I have already paid Rs 20,000 in less than 24 hours. She is not fit to move to a shelter immediately. She will require atleast 4-5 days at the hospital for which I will need help with funds 🙏🙏
