A quiet thought, logged for keeps.

Standing in a room full of people , recently at a press conference in New Delhi, I couldn’t help but think about how lonely this journey can be.

Animal welfare is often filled with applause for the moments that make headlines, but the real work happens in the quiet..behind closed doors, in difficult conversations, in heartbreak, and in choosing to keep going even when progress feels painfully slow.

I was grateful to be invited,(thank you Conference for Human Rights India) to see so many voices gathered for a shared cause. Yet I was reminded that those who dedicate themselves to speaking for animals often walk a path that feels deeply solitary.

The victories are few, the losses stay with us, and the responsibility never really leaves.

Still, if this journey has taught me anything, it’s that even the loneliest roads are worth walking when they lead to compassion.

For the voiceless. Always. ๐Ÿพ

In gratitude,
