This is Pillya. He got reported to me by a very close friend whose house help has a sister in a village called TAMBHERE, ahead of RAHURI VILLAGE, AHMEDNAGAR , MAHARSHTRA.

Pillya adopted them a few years ago and ever since then he has been with them and their cows. One day, about a month ago Pillya got hit by a vehicle and hurt hua leg.

Now this village has ZERO facilities for humans, leave alone animals. So they did the best they could that is put some haldi and called an LSS who visits sometimes for the cattle.
A month later this boy was still suffering and his wound was only getting worse. That’s when they spoke to their sister about it (my friends house help) and since she knows we work for animals, she approached us.
Once i saw the pics, there was no way I was going to be able to unsee them.

Hired an ambulance and got Pillya picked up from the village , 6 hours from Pune and after a long tiring journey, Pillya has reached @animal.ark.clinic .

Pillya has paralysis in the front leg and there is no other option than amputation. His blood work has been done and his levels are not up to the mark for surgery just yet, so we will have to put him on meds and supplements before we do the amputation.

He is the sweetest and gentlest boy ever ❤️‍🩹… He will be going back to the village once he is treated and ready for release. He has a loving family there who are following up about him and waiting for him to be back already ❤️‍🩹
The only thing is they cannot afford any kind of treatment, are extremely poor and struggle even to feed themselves. In spite of all this they ensure Pillya has his two bhakris with some milk daily. ❤️‍🩹
