ZOEY – 4TH September 2021

I’m not sure how many of you remember ZOEY. A few months ago, she was found paralysed and was first sent to ResQ and then Petsforce. She recovered decently well and was okay-ed to be released in her area. She lives in a labour colony and is  loved by them. Today I got a frantic call from them asking me to come over because something had happened to her again.

I rushed and found her in this state. 💔
It can’t be ascertained what it was – seizures or a nerve issue or because of extreme low blood count.
.
I waited with her in my car for about 30-45 mins till the ambulance arrived and she seemed much better by then..as in she had stopped clenching and uncontrollably shaking…she was still.shaking but was better…
She has been sent to Resq again and her blood work has been done. Reports will come in tomorrow and treatment will begin.

How much these poor souls suffer …it broke my heart seeing her like this today. So helpless. How many more there must be on the streets like this. 😔
