This is Amber. The sweetest and gentlest soul with the most beautiful amber eyes. She lives in our neighborhood.
Extremely human friendly, affectionate and heals with her hugs!

Yesterday, on our regular feeding rounds, we noticed her limping. At first I thought its a usual limp from getting slightly hurt and she would be okay In a day or two with pain killers.
Upon examining closer, we realised her paw was literally hanging from the joint. The bone was definitely broken and she would scream in pain if we even touched.

@shru_boho and Ian were extremely kind to take her to the vet this morning and her x-rays confirm that she had a break and has a fragment of her bone poking her muscle. I can’t even imagine the pain.
.
She will now have to undergo a surgery which involves inserting a metal plate .
For today, they have bandaged her tight enough to hold her bones together but we have to take action in the next two days.
.
Her surgery has been estimated between 30-35 thousand PLUS post op care for atleast 6 weeks at a paid facility!
I have no clue how we are going to do this but I know we have to do it. There isn’t a choice.

It’s a humble request, please please please come forward and help Amber with her surgery and post op expenses 🙏🙏

I know the universe will conspire to help her. I know it in my heart. ❤️ Thank you to each one of you in advance for the help 🙏
