This is an awareness post for everyone dealing with street animals and otherwise.

One morning, on her feeding roung, @waradabhide noticed one of her dogs in this state. Wanting to eat but not able to stand and balance himself still. He’s a Sterilized and vaccinated good boii!!
.
On seeing the video the first thing that comes to mind is distemper.
I sent the video to a couple of people and shelters and got a response saying this is a distemper case and so sorry we don’t have a seperate ward for distemper.
Absolutely understandable.

Called Balu for help and as always he was there on the spot as soon as he could.
.

Reported the case on the @resqct webline and Balu dropped him off at Resq.
.
Initially we were all worried because the symptoms gave us various options of what could be wrong, Rabies being one of them.
.
We were very tensed because just incase it turned out to be rabies, we would have to watch that entire areas dogs closely.
.
Cut to..
.
Ten days later is the second video where the good boiii came back hale and hearty after ResQ working their magic as always!!
It was a HEAT STROKE!! YES!! a heat stroke people!!
.
.
And please note that he has access to enough and more water around and good nutritional food daily by Wardha…yet this happened.

The weather has changed so drastically that our friends on the streets are suffering poor things.
He’s back. He’s happy. He’s fine.
.
Wardha now puts some Glucon D into their water pots for the extra energy and lift!
