WHITEY, our sweetest, most loving, tri pod granny was found with a deep gash/slit on her under belly day before yesterday.
She was bleeding and crying in pain. Was rushed to the emergency clinic where they cleaned and thoroughly checked her for other injuries or trauma.

The vets noticed that the wound was quite deep and hollow and a lot of debris (mud , small stones etc) had accumulated inside ..so they cleaned her up and sutured the wound, placing a drain at the site for it to drain out all the infection.

She also has a low hemoglobin and platelet count , her blood has been sent for a smear. Reports awaited but medicines have begun.

She will hopefully be sent to the paid foster today.
