Pinky 🩷 is one of my oldest babies. Her mother had given many litters before I could win her trust and get her spayed. Pinky’s siblings got adopted and two are in CANADA at the moment. Pinky was adopted too but the human who adopted her came and slyly dropped her back two days later without even informing me. Since it was a safe area and her mother was around too I let her be there and she’s 9+ today. Her mother passed away last to last year at the ripe age of 13+.. that too in a hit and run .

Each one of them has a history. They aren’t just any street dog. They are all our babies who we love and care for and feel helpless for because we don’t have a place for them to live freely and safely in , yet.

PINKY 🩷 was found sitting in the bushes last morning instead of frolicking around like she usually does.
She looked in immense pain and couldn’t stand up even.

We called the ambulance and had her picked up for a check up. Sangeeta- sweetest waited with pinky and comforted her till the ambulance arrived. Fed her chicken soup and chicken pieces which she ate with interest which in turn gave us hope.

After xrays and a check up we found out that Pinky has a fractured hip and will require 4-6 weeks of rest along with meds and supplements.
Blood reports revealed an infection which most likely is due to the same injury. She is on medication and we are doing the best we can .
