The day the constitution of India came into effect!
This photo will be my forever, all time favourite. Circa 2018.
Rani – the queen of her land – posing with the guards as they are getting ready to parade and parade she did!
She marched with them a full circle as if to reinforce the following:
‘According to the Indian Constitution, Article 51A(g) states that it shall be the fundamental duty of every citizen of India to protect and improve the natural environment including forests, lakes, rivers and wild life and to have compassion for living creatures. In reference to street dogs, this means that citizens have a responsibility to ensure that they are treated humanely and not subjected to unnecessary cruelty. Additionally, the government and local authorities have a duty to implement laws and policies, such as the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and the Animal Birth Control (Dogs) Rules, to protect street dogs and their welfare.”
So thank you my Rani, for being a real Queen 👑 and bringing humans together to believe and follow the above! Shine on in doggy heaven ✨ my girl- you are never going to be forgotten ⭐
Happy 74th Republic day, India!
