Maggie – an abandoned Pitbull mix was spotted on the night of September 3rd 2022 with a huge maggot wound on one of her ears.
An extremely friendly and well tempered girl, Maggie allowed us to pick her up and transport her to a paid foster care/shelter where she is being treated and looked after for now.

With good food, care and medication Maggie will heal..but she’s going to take some time as the wound has festered a lot and maggots have eaten deep into the flesh .

We will be getting her blood work done and eventually get her spayed as well. We just wanted her to settle down and decompress a bit before we do all of that because the poor girl must be traumatised from being just left to fend for herself on the roads.
