The heat wave that we are going through is a killer! Tiger, who had just about recovered from his viral infection about 2 -3 weeks ago, was struck and struggling with the heat yesterday. Stopped eating for two days and looked very listless.
Without wasting further time we rushed him to the vet.
Tiger had 105+ fever and was very weak. It was advised that we admit him to bring his temperature down and stabilise him.
We did that and he’s now okay, stable and eating.
However, he needs to be kept under observation and cannot be put back on the streets immediately. So we’ve admitted him to Petsforce for the next 8-10 days or so. He is on antibiotics and will be kept cool.
