KALU- 2nd December 2021

Kalu is a doggy I’ve been feeding for many years. Last year , I noticed that he had a bleeding penis, TVT- transmissible venereal tumor- which basically needs a few rounds of chemo and they are good to go. The day i planned to pick him up, he disappeared. .. and never came back…
I looked for him for long and then time just went by and we stopped looking 💔

Last week, on my feeding rounds again, i suddenly noticed an old, skinny and very weak doggy walking aimlessly on the road…
On looking closely, i realised it was none other than my Kalu. At once he recognised me and wagged his frail tail with whatever little strength he had left 😦 …I began feeding him and decided to admit him for treatment…

He used to be an absolute charming handsome fellow with shiny black fur and always a spring in his step. It is heartbreaking to see what has happened of him…life on the streets is so so tough for the voiceless 💔

A few days later he was picked up and moved to @petsforcepune for treatment…the vets have adviced against any chemo at the moment because he needs to first gain some strength and blood before anything else…
.
Kalu hasn’t been eating anything besides Pedigree puppy gravy pouches..  so I’ve handed over the pouches some of you donated for Buddu- to the shelter for Kalu.
