So this evening when I took my dogs for a walk .. my Scooby went sniffing at something and came running to me making a crying sound as if he wants to show me something .
I followed him back and guess who I saw ??? Our little girl who i rescued this morning !! This was a completely different path from where I found her and there was no way she could have reached there by herself .. so I suspect the watchman in whose care I left her .. knows that that’s my walk way and left her there . Poor thing was fast asleep with no energy in the middle of the road. 😦 ..
Picked her up.. called up the watchman .. he obviously denied leaving her there and also said he isn’t sure if he’ll be able to keep her. I got the point. I went to 3 different construction sites literally pleading them all. All 3 said yes but did not give guarentee of keeping a watch. I understand their situation too so did not push.
My last resort was a tapri guy who I have befriended over time because I feed the dogs around his tapri.
I pleaded with him to keep her for 3..4 days and nights and that I will come feed and medicate her etc . He said yes no problem. . And while we spoke a sabjiwali next to him came up to me and herself offered to take the pup home. I could not believe my eyes and ears . I looked at her and actually went and hugged her. I told her pls manage for 4..5 days then once she has strength she can live on the streets. And this lady says no no I will adopt her. You don’t worry . I will not leave her. And she started showing me pics of her doggy at home 🙂 .. I left her with medicine and food for this week and the pup and a dabba… took a picture of them and promised to buy sabji from her daily 🤗
There are angels in human form and when you wish for something from the bottom of your heart .. the wishes do come true.
