POV: You visit a shelter abroad and realize how badly India has failed its dogs.

Clean kennels.
Medical care.
Enrichment.
Volunteers who actually care.

Then you come back to India…
Overcrowded cages.
Dogs lying in their own waste.
No funding. No systems. No accountability.

We don’t lack money.
We lack empathy.
And the dogs pay the price.

If this makes you uncomfortable, good. It should.

I end 2025 with a prayer in my heart like many others in the same fraternity…who enter 2026 with anxiety and fear and worry for our animals in this country .

May archangel Ariel, who is associated with animals, nature, and the environment protect and heal and keep safe every animal ❤️🙏🐾🧿
