This is beyond horrifying. This is a crime that shakes the conscience of any humane society.
In Kharadi–Wagholi, a gentle community dog named Foxy was found bleeding — and veterinary examination confirms the injuries are most likely the result of sexual assault by a human. Let that sink in. An animal that trusted humans, that depended on kindness to survive, was brutally violated.
What makes this even more disturbing is the refusal to register an FIR citing “lack of CCTV evidence.” An FIR is not a conviction — it is the first step to investigation. Denying it is denying justice, not just to Foxy, but to every voiceless being who relies on the law for protection.
This is not “just animal cruelty.”This is a serious criminal offence under Indian law.
And today it was a community dog — tomorrow it could be anyone.
Silence, delay, and apathy only embolden perpetrators. We demand immediate registration of an FIR, a proper investigation, and strict action. Community animals are not disposable. Their lives matter. Their suffering matters.
@amiteshkumarips don’t their lives matter ? The police is REFUSING to file an FIR. Apparently everyone says only you may be able to help. So here I am asking for your help for safety of all including the children and women of that area. We have a rapist roaming free !
