8.12.25 – The heavens gained a bright star today ⭐ Jabya merged with his maker… Our Jabya…gone forever…too soon…

I knew him and looked after him since he was a pup of 2 months . He grew to be such a sensitive and sensible boy… Always protecting the caretaker family he stayed with at a bunglow close by.. He guarded their children just like an elder brother would… He would follow the little boy to his tuition class and wait outside till class was done ..only to follow him back home.. he guarded the bathroom door while the sister had a bath inside to ensure she was safe…

He had been guarding them from a snake in the premises since many months now…he would look in the direction of the snake when he saw it and barked to warn the family not to go in that particular direction. They had all learnt to understand his ways and stayed safe because of Jabya.

Unfortunately that very snake bit Jabya and the poison spread through his body damaging his kidneys to an irreparable state.
Our beautiful boy died protecting his family.

The grandmother and the little boy were most attached. Jabya was admitted since the last 4 days and they all took turns to come visit him at the hospital. Everyday they would bring his favourite foods hoping he ate even one bite.

So so loved our Jabya is. We will all miss him terribly 💔
I spent so much time in his enclosure with him in the last 4 days…saw it in his eyes that it was time…

They take a piece of us each time they leave…and break our hearts into a million pieces….yet we have to pick those pieces and put them back one by one… because…life has to go on…. 💔

I can’t express how painful it is to lose you Jabya…but if that means you aren’t suffering anymore…I will live with this pain.

Milo, Whitey, and Beigey miss you more than you can imagine. Specially Milo.

Stay well my boy. Rest well. You are in a better place than all of us.
