Just imagine being all alone, shooed away by every being that comes your way, you don’t know how to maneuver traffic, you are extremely hungry thirsty and cannot hear and see well, you have sores all over your body and you are in your sunset years of life.. …that’s Mani for you. 💔

Mani- was reported by a good Samaritan and we got him picked up from outside Manipal hospital, kharadi yesterday. He was running around aimlessly and has wounds all over his body.

Upon the vets examination, we realised he has a horrible ear infection, eye sores, and lumps (small tumors) all over his body. He’s in distress and also has a skin condition which was making him itch a lot.

How they suffer alone and old on our streets. It’s heartbreaking how this country treats it’s street animals 💔

He is safe now and in the shelter where he’s being given his medication and nourishing food.

I don’t know if I will ever be able to put him back on the streets looking at his condition and age. But that’s something I will worry about slightly later.

For now he’s safe and we are doing our best to keep him comfortable and get his treated for all the issues he has.
