– Snowy was doing well after his first chemo. In fact the size of his tumor also showed considerable improvement. However, he was found bleeding profusely yesterday after his meal time and hence was rushed to the clinic.

He was given injections to stop the bleeding and we drew blood for a test once again

Reports came in and it shows he has Babesia gibsoni tick fever which is a critical one and needs triple antibiotic treatment.
His hemoglobin and platelet count also has dropped considerably and it’s worrisome.

Good thing is he is eating well, touchwood. We have stayed him off on the medication that’s needed for this rick fever immediately and are hoping for the best.
