– Bhola’s surgery happened late last night. It went on for 2.5 hours.
The hospital has been very very empathetic and kind and has been in close touch with Bhola’s progress.
The surgery went well. In layman words – They cleaned out the dead and infected tissue completely and stitched up his skin . They didn’t have to do any grafting as they were anticipating which is a good thing. ๐งฟ.
Bhola has been extremely cooperative and such a sweet boy through all of this. He even tried to stand up on his own twice which is great news too ๐งฟ
Somehow it just breaks our hearts even more that they surrender to the very same species that caused them the hurt. They know ONLY LOVE. They don’t know how to hate. They just don’t know any malice. What pure souls ๐ฅบ
Bhola will be there for another few days till he completely stabilizes and then we will move him to a paid foster .
There is no way Bhola can be sent back from where he came because his life is at threat there. I’m so worried about the other dogs there too. This is a human inflicted injury and can happen to any animal there.
Bhola deserves to be in a home. He’s just not made for the streets. He’s way too bhola ๐ฅบ.. will write more on this once he has stabilized…
A huge thank you to all those who donated for Bholas surgery..it is only because of you all that we could go ahead with it ๐โฅ๏ธ
