Pillu was found in this state after almost a month of disappearing. Looks like he was in a bad accident.

Both his legs are damaged. One has a bad bone infection and most likely will need to be amputated. The other one is broken from the pelvis but because of so much time that has passed by it has fused.

We are in a dilemma because if we ampute the infected leg and release him after recovery, there is risk of his other leg giving way if he jumps and runs , basically all the pressure will be on that weak leg then.

For now he has been thoroughly checked , is admitted and is on heavy meds.
We will take a call after a weeks time.

Another long haul case. Minimum 2 months.
Rs 300 a day at the shelter+ vet fees+ transport+meds AND surgery!
