We noticed that Browny peed blood . It could be because of the trauma inside his pelvis when the car went over him, but we got a blood test done nevertheless.

He also has Tick fever as per the blood reports. We have started him on the needed meds.

One side of his pelvis is in pieces and the other side is also broken but since browny is able to stand we have some hope.

At this point amputation would be an option that would put browny most at ease but he will need to be at the shelter with cage rest for at least 2 months , because we cannot risk the other side of the pelvis giving way. It needs time to fuse and since he’s an older dog it will take some time.

I have also consulted an ayurvedic expert and bought meds for Browny that will help him heal and improve his overall immunity too.
We need to wait for his swelling to subside to take the next course of action, hopefully in another 5-7 days.
