Both NORA and PEPPER were extremely difficult girls to catch for sterilisation.
Unfortunately and fortunately both were injured and unwell in the month of Jan, so couldn’t run much and were caught ..

Since they were caught and were healing well we decided to get them both spayed when they recovered.

Having no choice of getting any appointment with any government body to help with the sterilisation, we had to go in for a private vet facility and private paid foster facility for post op care.

I wish we didn’t have to spend on their spay and it was done free of cost as per the government rules, we could have used the money for other rescues but there was no way I was taking a chance of having more pups struggling for their lives.

A dog can have 2-3 litters in a year. Every litter can have upto 7-10 pups. Do the math and we realise how important it is to control this then have them birthed on our cruel streets coz not every pup is Lucky to find a forever home.

Anyway for now we have spent more than Rs 10,000 on their spay and foster. Bills attached..
