Woke up this morning with a call from one of my feeding sites that one of our doggies was run over last night by a vehicle that belongs to someone living in the same society. He decided to do nothing about it..went home and slept peacefully.

We got her caught this morning and took her to the vet, Dr. Anushree @ghaisas.anushree .
Luckily there are no breaks but she’s in a lot of pain and hence admitted for the next few days under observation and on pain meds.
We also plan to get her sterilised once she’s better and then release her back to her location

She’s admitted at Yeshudas’s K9 shelter @yeshudas_kuttan.

We are looking at raising funds for her sterilisation surgery (Rs 4800),her foster stay (Rs 250 a day) , vet & med fees for today (Rs 500).AND also to pay the catcher and transport for today . (Catcher and transport Rs 3000/-)

It’s a huge area and construction site so there was a lot of running involved.

Guys, please drive safe and if an accident does happen, don’t turn a blind eye ..pls do your bit..the least that can be done is to inform a local volunteer or shelter and contribute towards their treatment..

We are supposed to be the more evolved species right ?
