Who remembers Kalu/Bhaloo?

He’s one of my oldest babies. The two older than him from his pack crossed the rainbow bridge last year. He and chutki remain from that pack.

He has multiple tumors on his body but because of his age we weren’t doing much and were just trying to keep him comfortable.
Recently he developed tumors in his mouth and also the tiny one on his stomach started to grow and is now hanging as you can see.

Sent him to get checked today because his mouth was beginning to stink and we didn’t want to leave it to the chance of any maggot infestation etc.

These two tumors will have to be removed via surgery. He was also running a fever of 104. Blood has been drawn for testing. We will know more tomorrow.

For now he is in a paid shelter.

Just today’s bill was Rs 4600+ Rs 2000(transport)

Shelter is Rs 400 a day. He will be there for quite sometime as surgery is scheduled for next week and then post op recovery.
