My sweet sweet boy Jabya, such a free spirited friendly soul who trusts anyone and everyone has TVT! -Canine transmissible venereal tumor.

Tvt can present as a lump or bump in the penile or prepucial area of a male dog or the vulva region or in the vulva of a female dog. A dog will typically lick the affected area especially as the mass progresses in size.

The last three mornings when I went to feed him and his friends, I noticed he had dried blood trickled down on his right leg..the first day I thought it must have been a fight he got into and hence bled but was ok .. because his activity and eating was all okay.

When I noticed it on day 2 and again today on day 3…I looked closely and noticed drops of blood from his penis. I took a tissue and wiped it and the blood reappeared.

Took him to the vet and got him examined. Surely it is tvt and jabya is admitted today. We ran blood tests and started him off on his first chemo.

He will receive 3-4 cycles of chemo with a gap of 10 days in between each..

We will need help with funds 🙏 i will have all the bills by tomorrow and will share them.
We are already struggling with Bhairoo’s surgery, Yuki’s foster charges, Gingers treatment and foster and now Jabya.
