We found snowy with a swollen , gooey and closed eye on the afternoon of 25th September.
She wasn’t allowing us to even touch or clean her eye because it was hurting her.

Without wasting much time , we picked her up and took her to an ophthalmologist for dogs .

She has been checked and has been put on medication for the next 5 days.
The vet says it looks like some kind of a trauma…either she’s been hit or something has fallen on her…

Unfortunately we will never know the truth ..that’s the life our community, free living dogs live…a life of uncertainty at the mercy of humans who they hope can be kind enough to at least not cause any harm, if no good!

Transport to and fro from the shelter itself is quite expensive (Rs 2500) as the ophthalmologist is very far. She is admitted at a shelter /private foster which costs rs 400 a day!
