We laid our Gundu to rest today…
And I know this is exactly what she wanted…to be laid to everlasting peaceful sleep after 14 years she spent as a very loved community dog.

I met her in 2010…when she was around 2-3 years young and have looked after her ever since…

She’s always been the alpha, the feisty one of the pack and that’s how and why she got her name…Gundi…Gundu…Gundu ma…

The accident she went through a few weeks ago, broke her spirit… She tried to give it her best but for the last 3-4 days she stopped eating or drinking water…we put her on saline but then realised it wasn’t working as she had completey given up…

I spent some time with her today and literally saw tears fall out of her eyes and i knew it was time…she waited for me to say bye…
She is at rest now and pain free in a better world…

Thank you Gundu for choosing me as your guardian and giving me the opportunity to learn so much from you…
You are one of the strongest doggies I’ve met in this lifespan…

You will be sorely missed by,
Kalu, Lalu, Ledgu, Chutki, Sangita,Datta mama, Keshav ji and me…💔

Fare thee well my baby girl…i love you today and always will…keep the piece of my heart, that you’ve taken with you, safe 💓

Love,
T.
